Subgenus: Decaloba, Supersection: Decaloba, Section: Decaloba. Very small, dainty vine with glabrous, bat-wing leaves and red, 2" flowers. The filaments are replaced by a bowl-shaped tube surrounding the androgynophore. Tolerates heat well. Minimum temperature: 45 degrees F. Since this is such a small species, it may be shipped in a 2.5" pot.
