Overview
(formerly sold as P. coccinea): Subgenus: Passiflora, Supersection: Coccinea. Scarlet Passion Flower. Large, bright red flowers are followed by orange/yellow striped fruit that is wonderful to eat. Most suitable for warm climates. This plant used to be known as P. coccinea, but has recently found to be a separate species from the true P. coccinea and has been described and published by John Vanderplank under the new name P. miniata.
