Subgenus: Decaloba, Supersection: Decaloba, Section: Decaloba. Best known as the parent of P. 'Sunburst', a very popular hybrid. Beautifully variegated, shield-shaped leaves with prominent, yellow egg mimic glands. The flowers are green with yellow corona filaments. Like P. 'Sunburst', it has an unpleasant aroma.
