Passiflora antioquiensis: Subgenus: Passiflora, Supersection: Tacsonia, Section: Colombiana, Series: Leptomischae. Very beautiful and desirable. Guaranteed to be the true species, this cool-growing passionflower has 4" iridescent red flowers that hang from sometimes extremely long peduncles that can be 18" or more. Attracts hummingbirds and produces edible, flavorful fruit. This species can take a light frost, but will not tolerate excessive summer-time heat.
